Alice Morrison

Alice Twynette Deavers Morrison was born on September 28, 1932, to Walter and Lillian Deavers.  Alice passed away August 24, 2016, at the home of her only child, Patricia Morrison Presley.  Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years Rev. Gordon Lewis Morrison.  Also she was preceded in death by her parents, and five brothers: Wilson Deavers, Ray Deavers, Philean Deavers, Lister Deavers and James Deavers and two sisters, Lucile Deavers Bradley and Louise Deavers Nichols.

            Alice is survived by her only child Patricia Morrison Presley.  Joyce Reppert and Kimberly Reppert are very special friends and loved very much by Alice and Patricia.  Joyce and Kim spent many hours with Alice at home, Doctors visits, and helping any way they could.  A special thank you to Joyce and Kim.

            A time of visitation with the family will be on Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The celebration of Alice’s life will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
