Avery Dean Patten

Avery Patten, age 54, passed away at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center on July 26, 2017. He is survived by wife of 26 years, Sharon Copeland Patten, sons Tyler, Logan, and Zachary, daughters Ashley and Angela and "adopted" daughter Lindsay Falivene, Grandchildren Lily, Lovely, Holly, Javon and Timothy, Brothers Timbo (Hope) and Kelby (Barbara) and Sister Sherry. He is preceded in death by father Gart Dale Patten, mother Evelyn Tullos Patten, Brother Glyn Patten and Sister Jeanette Patten Coley. Avery Patten was born on January 26, 1963 in Delhi, Louisiana. He graduated from Block High School in Jonesville, Louisiana. He moved to Crestview, Florida in 1989 where he maintained residence until his death. He will be missed by numerous friends and family members. The funeral service is scheduled for July 29, 2017 at 4pm at Whitehurst Funeral Home in Crestview, Florida. The burial will follow the service at Shady Grove Assembly of God in Baker, Florida.
