Mrs. Barber was my third grade teacher. She was always an inspiration to me and one of the reasons I became a teacher. When I was about to start my first year teaching, she gave me the best advice. She said, "Listen to the veteran teachers, then close the door and teach how you want." She will be missed by many. My prayers are with her family.
