Brian Sapp

Matthew Brian Sapp, 36, of Davie, Florida passed away December 28, 2017. He was born August 13, 1981, in Riverdale, Georgia, the son of Terry L. and Elizabeth A. (Peterson) Sapp. Brian graduated from Crestview High School. He received his Bachelors Degree in Music Business from Full Sail University in Orlando. He has lived in South Florida since February, 2009, working for IK Multimedia in Sunrise. Brian and Stephanie Rasbury have been together since 1997 and married in 2011. Together, they have two children, Noah and Amaya. In addition, Brian is survived by his parents, Terry and Elizabeth Sapp; brothers, Terry Sapp Jr. (Debbie), Shane Sapp (Bonnie) and Duane Sapp (Stefanie); his grandmother, Christine Peterson; In-laws Richard and Angelita Rasbury; brother in-law Andrew Rasbury; nieces and nephews, Halie, Alyssa, Izaiah and Nathaniel Sapp; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Tammy. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home, with a time of visitation starting one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions given in memory of Brian can be directed to his family for the establishment of an education fund for his children.
