CORDELIA BARFIELD

Cordelia Barfield, age 81, of Crestview, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, July 25, 2017, in the presence of her family.  She was born February 10, 1936, in Chipley, Florida, to the late Mert and Ruby (Hudson) McKithen.  Cordelia has resided in Crestview since 1960 and was an active member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, James David Barfield, as well as a beloved brother and sister.

Cordelia is survived by her devoted son, James (J.E.) Barfield; dear sisters, Mildred, Lois and Marguerite; and best friend, Billie Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Friday, July 28, 2017, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, with Rev. George Katzman officiating.  Visitation with the family will begin at 1 PM prior to the funeral.  Burial will be in Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Woodlawn Baptist Church Building Fund, in Cordelia’s memory.
