Mr. Luke was as great a person as an educator. I have fond memories of his class and of him. He stood for education and integrity.
My deepest sympathies to the family on your loss.

Stan,
Working today and missed the service. So very sorry. Please know that all you have to do is call and I'll be there. Praying for you and your family.

Mr. Luke was a pillar of a man in kindness, decency, principle and knowledge. Just as fondly memorable was his uncanny wit, a combination of "down home altruism and think about it humor", that I figure my own Dad could only envy. I believe he is the last surviving Dad from that wonderful Adams -Powell subdivision growing up era ... Rest in peace Mr. Luke and to Danny, Stan, Mrs. Luke and your extended families find solace in knowing whatever God has in store for our afterlives, Mr. Luke had a first class ticket to that paradise.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man, a great teacher and neighbor. More than anything I remember how kind and patient he was. Danny was a very good friend of my brother, Kenny, and admired Mr. Luke immensely. Our hearts are with you all.

John and I are so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Levelle as one of the kindness men I have ever known and admired. He always taught us as kids to do what was right. That is just one example of his deeply devoted love for God. I am proud to have had him as my uncle. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
