David Garrett Gordon

David Garrett Gordon, age 63 of Milligan passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013.  He was born in Crestview on August 20, 1950, to Thomas and Velma Gordon.  David has been a lifelong resident of Baker area, and he graduated from Baker High School in 1968.  He loved to be on Yellow River, loved wood working and loved Florida Gator Football.  David was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by his children: Christopher T. Gordon and wife Tracy of Baker, Stephanie Brackney and husband Marty of Milligan, Jason Gordon of San Diego, CA, Kandace Gordon and Caleb Gordon of Holt.  Also surviving are his brothers: T. L. Gordon and wife Virginia of Macanopy, FL, Bobby Gene Gordon and wife Joyce of Milton, Jerry Gordon and wife Emily of Lewisburg, TN and Terry Gordon and wife Jodi of Holt.  His 9 precious grandchildren survive him: Briana, Bailey, Cameron, McKinley, Dusty, Jaden, Nicholas, and Bella.  David also leaves behind great friend Tommy Ward and his wife Nancy.
A memorial service for David will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m.
