Donna Elizabeth Adams Austin

Donna Austin, age 59 of Crestview passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. She was born in Crestview on July 8, 1958, to Purl G. Adams, Jr. and Barbara Adams, and has been a lifelong resident of the Crestview area. Donna graduated from Crestview High School in 1976. She loved to hunt and fish, loved to camp and growing flowers, but most of all she loved being outdoors. Donna is preceded in death by her father Purl G. Adams, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Dale Austin; her mother Barbara Adams; her children: Everett Baggett, III, Barbara Leann Baggett, and Leslie Allison Baggett; brothers: Purl Adams III and his wife Lesley, Paul Adams, and Phillip Adams and his wife Michelle; sister Debbie Adams Barrow. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Taylor, Samara, Adrian, E.J. and Lailynn; Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. The celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. Donna’s request that you come dress casual and comfortable. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Donna’s memory to Whitehurst-Powel Funeral Home to help with her funeral expenses.
