Donna Schwarz

Donna Schwarz age 75, of Crestview passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016.  She was born on November 22, 1940 in Butler, PA to Joseph and Virginia Betres.  Donna moved to Crestview in 1986 with her family.  Donna worked with the Okaloosa County Health Department until 1993 before retiring.  She was very active in her church, Our Lady of Victory and the Senior Circle.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Schwarz, and a great grandson Evan Wolfe.

            Survivors include her children: Kelly Schwarz and his wife Teresa of Pace, Becky Tillman and her husband Tony of Crestview, and John Eric Schwarz and his wife Heather of Crestview; sisters: Joanne Fittro and husband William and Jamie Khoury and husband Sohiel all of Parkersburg, W. Va.; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; also surviving is Donna’s longtime friend, Julia Berger; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins,  and extended family.

            A time of visitation with the family will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral.  The celebration of Donna’s life will on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic with burial to follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.
