Donney Martin

Donney Martin, age 72 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 16, 1945 in Crestview and has been a life long resident of the area.  Donney was a faithful member of Milligan Assembly of God and served in many capacities in the church, from usher to helping with any kind of building or fixing things or just helping those in need.  He was preceded in death by his father Lonnie Martin.

          Survivors include his wife of 10 years Leah Martin, his mother Colis Martin, his children: Kelley Davis and her husband Dwayne, Nathan Martin and wife Felicia, Mike Wagner and wife Cynthia, Brian Wagner and wife Lori, Lisa Roy and husband Ernie and Jimbo Helms and wife Heather.  Also surviving is his brother Dean Martin and wife Pat and 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, along with extended church family and many, many friends.

          A time of visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Milligan Assembly of God from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.  The celebration of Donney’s life will be on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the church with burial to follow in the Milligan Baptist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Milligan Assembly of God Building Fund.
