Elisha Simon

Elisha Simon, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. He was born on November 23, 1928 in Seminole, Alabama to Tommie and Christana Simon. He was a member of Lebanon Missionary Church and he enjoyed fishing, football, baseball and being a grounds keeper.

Elisha was preceded in death by his parents, brother, George; and sisters, Maudest and Delores.

He is survived by his wife, Ina M. Simon; sons, Michael, Larry, and Mark; daughters, Deborah and Cathy; brothers, Isaac, Manuel, Howard, and Donald; sisters Ola M., Lula Mate, and Dorothy; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 4:00-6:00pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1:00pm at Lebanon Baptist Church.

The family would like for monetary donations to be made to Emerald Coast Hospice, Heart Foundation or Shoal Creek Rehabilitation.
