Evelyn Paul Barlow, a long time resident of Crestview Florida, was called home on the 16th of July with her family by her side.
Born June 1st, 1928, in Crystal Lake, FL to Tommie Ola and William Johnny Paul, Evelyn worked as a telegraph operator for the L&N Railroad in which she was very proud. She later worked for the Alatex Sewing Factory and Winn Dixie Bakery as a Cake Decorator.
Mrs. Barlow was extremely talented and a devoted wife and family woman. She had so many gifts that she shared not only with her family but with the world through her paintings, quilting, crafting and cooking.
Evelyn Barlow is survived by her 3 loving sons; Ronnie and daughter-in-law Pam, Sonny and daughter-in-law Debbie and Ricky Barlow; her 10 grandchildren Trallis, Taris, Randy, Johnathan, Nathan, Stacie, Chip, Sammy, Savannah, and Brooke; 3 siblings Katie, Millie and Wayne; and 18 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Sam of 45 years; daughter, Glenda; son, Chipper; great granddaughter, Trinity; siblings, Ula, Henry, Lewis, Dee and Loraine.
Visitation will be at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 5:00-7:00pm. Celebration of Life and services will be held at Whitehurst Funeral Home Friday, July 21st 2017 at 10:00am. Interment followed the service in Almarante Cemetery in Laurel Hill.
