Frances King

 Ella Frances Brunson King, age 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 24, 2017. Frances was born on April 19, 1935 in Baker, FL. She was the daughter of William Perry Brunson and Gertrude Johnson Brunson.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers QP Brunson and Olin Brunson, her sister, Mildred Brunson Cook and her beloved husband Kenneth King.

She is survived by her children, Larry and Cindy King, Ken (Gerald) King, Elaine and Fred Broussard, and Will King. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, and many, many nieces and nephews.

Frances loved life. She was always happy, but she was happiest spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frances would spend as much time as possible just listening to the children laugh and play. Besides spending time with children, Frances loved to enjoy nature. She often would sit outside and delight in the beauty around her.

Services for Frances will be held at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on Thursday, September 28, with visitation at 9 A.M. and memorial service at 10 A.M.
