Welcome to the memorial page for

Garland Earl Hall

October 5, 1940 ~ March 19, 2017 (age 76) 76 Years Old

Garland Earl Hall joined his mother (Hazel Dunn Hall), father (Johnnie Hall), and brother (Donald Hall, Sr.) in heaven, Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was 76.

Garland was born and raised in North Alabama where he developed his love for horses, hunting, fishing, and football.  His family moved to Crestview, Florida when he was a senior in high school where he met and married Pat Lisenbee, his high school sweetheart.  They were married 56 years. After graduating from the University of Florida, they moved back to NWF to raise their family while supporting their many educational and athletic endeavors.  He was a major supporter of the Quarterback Club and often helped with the musicals produced at CHS. He was very involved in helping to raise his grandchildren, from passing on his love for the outdoors, to following them all over the country to sporting events.

Garland retired from Showell Farms in DeFuniak Springs and enjoyed spending his days hunting and fishing with his extended family and friends.  On family trips taken all over the world, Garland’s extensive knowledge of history and the great outdoors impressed his family & tour guides alike.

He is survived by his wife Pat, his children John Wayne Hall, Donald Earl Hall, Juanese Hall Jones, his grandchildren Dominique, Matthew, Tyler, Michael, and one great grandson Trace. His guidance and laughter will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org
