Glenda (Crawford) Newman

Glenda Newman, age 70 of Crestview passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, surrounded by her family.  She was born on July 24, 1945, to Henry and Bessie Crawford.  Glenda was a member of New Beginnings Church.  She loved to help people and was very involved with TIPS.  Glenda loved going to the beach, loved to sing and talk, but most of all she loved to travel.  Glenda was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Lonnie Ray Crawford and James Edmund Crawford and a sister Edna Mae Mason.

            Survivors include her brothers: Herbert Crawford, John D. Crawford and his wife Faye, and Gerald Henry Crawford; Sister Betty Barnhill, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, extended family and church family.

            The celebration of Glenda’s life will be on Monday, July 11, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at New Beginnings with burial to follow in New Bethany Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
