Harry Joseph Payne

Harry Joseph Payne, 88, a longtime resident of Valpariso, Florida, passed away on February 12, 2017. He was born February 5, 1929 in Houston, Texas to John Alva Payne and Norine Clare Clark.

Harry married Gertrudes Elsie Payne on October 21, 1951 and she passed away on March 18, 2006.

Harry served 22 years in the United States Air Force. He was a loving husband, father and friend.

He is survived by his sons, David and wife Lisa Payne, Dante Payne, Howard and wife Tammy Payne, and Hilary Payne; daughters, Teresa and husband Keith Roberts, Norine and husband Jim Smith, Marie and husband Bob McGovern, and Tina Payne; grandchildren, Joseph, Aly, Gabe, Hailey, Joanna, Kristina, Johnathan, Nick, Melissa, Randy, Calvin, Heather, Lishia, Kat, Jesse, and Jaques; great-grandchildren, Jenna, John, Mason, Victor, Curtis, Jimmy, Jaclyn, Joshua, Jacob, Daniel, Korbyn, Kaedon, Willow and many other friends and family.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9:00am-10:00am at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. Funeral service will start at 10:00am
