Hilda Beryl Elfreda Chambers

Hilda Beryl Elfreda Chambers, age 89, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was born January 17, 1926 in Harewood, St. Catherine, Jamaica W.I. to Titus Egnell and Edith Maude Simpson. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses October 20, 1970. Beryl touched so many through her zest for life and passion for service. She worked tirelessly unto Jehovah, sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom with many. She was preceded in death by Daniel Edward Bevans, Evan Michael Chambers, Siblings: Victor Gladstone, Lloyd Constantine, Gloria Mercedes and Brother-in-law  Ken Jones.

            Memories of her life will live on in the lives her children: Beverly Ann Bevans (Gene), Sonya Diana Chambers, Evan Fitzpatrick Chambers (Denise), Valerie Julianna Petersen, Marcia Rosemary Chambers, Evan Latanya Darneille (Leonard); Brother: Hugh Vincent Simpson

13 Grandchildren, Christopher James Bevans (Christina), Sean Anthony Chambers (Sandra), Shaka Imani Chambers, Marissa Nicole Coleman(Gerald), Andrew Jacob Petersen, Allyson Janel Petersen, John Leslie Jackson (Julie), Edward Henry Chambers, Monica  Denise Chambers –Taylor  (Sterling), Shannon O’Hara Bulzone (John), Jasmine Renee Hall, Vanessa Fae Harper (Clarence) and, Isaac James Darneille.

15 Great-grandchildren, Corina Bevans, Sierra Chambers , Sasha Chambers, Savanna Chambers, Syrion Ottey-Chambers, Elijah Wilhelm Chambers, Anastasia-Magdaline, Sophia Grace Coleman, Baby Coleman, John Jackson Jr., Zora Taylor, Augustine Taylor, Gabriella(Squeek) Bulzone and Emerson Bulzone, and Serafina Marianne Harper, Benjamin Harper and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Spiritual Sons and Daughters.

            A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 5-7:00pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.

            A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2:00pm. 3061 East James Lee Blvd. Crestview, Florida 32536.
