JESSE LEE DENT

Jesse Lee Dent, age 70, passed away on January 10, 2017. He was born in Brunswick, Georgia on November 13, 1946 to G.U. and Juanita Dent.

Jesse served in the United States Air Force for 24 years and he worked at the Department of Corrections for 15 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Marilyn Irene Lauritzen Dent; son-in-law, Paul Drake; daughters, Christina Irene Drake, and Patricia Ann Dent-Chasteen, and Darla Joyce Dent-Chasteen; sister, Sallie Anne Kirkland; grandchildren, Alana Irene Keay, Patrick Thomas Drake and Cory M. Keay; great-grandchildren, Natalie Irene Keay, and Cory Michael Keay, Jr.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 3:00pm at Central Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
