Jean Golloher Hinnant

Jean Golloher Hinnant, age 83, a lifelong resident of Holt, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was born on October 27, 1933 in Holt, Florida to Carnie and Lee Harlson and has been a lifelong resident.

Jean was a member of first Baptist Church in Holt, she loved gardening, visiting with her lady friends, keeping the grandkids, traveling and loved her husband very much. She retired from Monsanto after 33 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carnie and Lee Harlson; two sisters: Bonnie Mitchell and Hazel Alford; great-granddaughter, Madison Taylor; husband, Bob Golloher; and son-in-law, George Brown.

Jean is survived by her husband of 10 years, Melvin Hinnant; children: Danny Patrick, Darell Griffith, Chris Brown, Burton Golloher, and Mitch Golloher; brother, Stanley Harlson; sisters, Susie Ward and Dean Galloway; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended church family also survive.

The celebration of Jean’s life will be on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Holt.  Burial will follow in the Old Holt Cemetery.  A time visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
