Larry Danford Skipper

Larry Skipper age 65, of Crestview went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 21, 2015.  He was born on October 1, 1949, in Hartford, AL to Early and Margaret Skipper.  Larry enjoyed Blues music, and loved playing his guitar and harmonica.  He was preceded in death by his son Stoney Skipper and his father Early D. Skipper.

            Larry is survived by his wife Judy Skipper, his mother Margaret Skipper, son Scott D. Skipper; daughter Lisinda Dees and grandchildren: Cyndi Skipper, Brittany Vadino, Jorden West, Samantha Skipper, Matthew Vadino, and Hannah Skipper.  Also surviving is his great granddaughter Leanna Vadino.

            A time of visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.  The celebration of Larry’s life will be on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with a burial to follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.
