Master Sergeant (Ret.)Bobby J. Wood, Jr.

Master Sergeant Bobby J. Wood Jr. (Ret.), 46, died on March 11th, 2017 doing what he loved best- riding his motorcycle. The memorial service for Msgt. Bobby “Woody” Wood Jr., is Thursday, March 23rd at 4:00pm at the Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, Florida. In lieu, of flowers his family has set up a Memorial Fund in Honor of Bobby at OCTFCU 850-682-2225 in the name of Dina Wood-Mem. B. Wood.

He is survived by his wife, Dina Wood; his three children, Amanda, Raymond, and Jacob; his mothers, Judy McCllenland and Dottie Page Wood; his four brothers, James Wood, Billy Crawford, William Mullan, and Frank Mullan and their families.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Jearl Wood Sr.; brother, Paul Crawford; grandparents, J.S. and Frannie Smith and Arthur Roe and Neva Flo Wood.

Born in Lufkin, Texas on March 15th, 1970, “Woody” made the decision to serve his country and joined the United States Air Force on June 21st, 1989. Over the course of his career with the Air Force, MSgt Wood completed several deployments and overseas tours of duty including Japan and England and was awarded numerous medals and achievement awards. MSgt Wood was honorably discharged after 23 years of active duty on November 1st, 2012.
