Melanie Mae Richeson

Melanie Mae Richeson, age 47, of Crestview, passed away suddenly on May 25, 2015.  She was an 11 year veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany, Korea and in Kuwait in support of the Iraqi War.  She held a Master’s Degree in Applied Sciences.

Melanie is survived by her husband, Gary; her son, Anthony; her parents, Neal and Ilona Bancroft;  sisters, Connie Knowles and Kelly Brandt; brothers, Patrick (wife, Dawn) Bancroft and Lee Bancroft; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place at 2 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 PM until service time.
