Peter A. Sniezko

Peter A. Sniezko, age 64, passed away at his home in Crestview Monday morning, August 24, 2015. He was born September 29, 1950, in Munich, Germany. Pete served in the U.S. Air Force at numerous bases including Beale AFB, California; in Thailand; Keesler AFB, Mississippi; Bitburg Air Base, Germany; Hill AFB, Utah; and Eglin AFB, Florida, where he retired as CMSGT, after 20 years (and 1 day) of service. He was a technology and computer expert, and he loved the game of golf, playing frequently with friends at Foxwood Country Club and other courses. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jean Sniezko. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cindy Sniezko, of Crestview; son and daughter in law, Michael and Jennifer Sniezko, of Abilene, Texas, their children, Kodi, Jarrett, Brittany, Whitney and Vanessa; his daughter and son in law, Susan Christine and Brian Haynes, of Anchorage, Alaska, and their children, Lauren, Jack, Ava Claire, and Holden; his brothers, Richard Sniezko, of Eugene, Oregon, Jim Sniezko, of Catati, Califronia and Dave (Anita) Sniezko, of Pasadena, Calif; and many other loving relatives, including his Auntie Mary. A Celebration of Pete’s life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Crosspoint United Methodist Church, 2250 P J Adams Parkway, Crestview. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday starting at 10 AM. Burial with military honors will be in Heritage Gardens Cemetery, Niceville.
