Rhonda “Denise” Henry

Denise Henry, age 56, of Holt, went to be with her Lord on July 19, 2015. She was born on September 24, 1958 to Elton and Betty Adams and resided in Holt her entire life. After graduation from Baker School, she became employed with the Okaloosa County School District and had retired in June with 35 years of service as a classroom and library aide. Denise loved God, people and especially her family.  Her true loves in life were her husband, Dan and sons, Adam and Colton. She supported all their endeavors and loved them as much as any wife and mother could.  Just over a year ago her grandson, Cade, whom was her “love” as she would say, was born. She was loved by so many and will truly never be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Dan Henry; sons Adam Henry and wife Jessica and Colton Henry and wife Chelby; grandson, Cade Henry; mother, Betty Adams; sister, Brenda Holt and husband Cliff; nieces, Andrea Brown and husband Jason, and Ashley Baker and husband Ernie; sister in laws, Corine Williams and husband Bill and Susan Eastridge and husband Rusty; nieces, Cathy Duffy and husband Kevin and Krista Ladner and husband Jason along with several other family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday at Holt Assembly of God from 6-8 pm. The celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday at Holt Assembly of God at 2 pm. Burial will follow at the Adams Memorial Cemetery. Whitehurst –Powell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
