Roger Alvin Barnhill

Roger Alvin Barnhill was born November 4, 1956 in Crestview Florida to Dudson and Margie (Rita) Barnhill. He was a life long resident of Baker Florida. Roger was an avid Florida Gator fan, hunter, and fisherman. He worked in construction for more than 40 years and also enjoyed traveling. Durning his travels he met many life long friends. The greatest joys in his life were his three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Raymond and Emmie Barnhill, maternal grandparents Cecil and Lucille Nixon and father Dudson Barnhill. He is survived by his mother Margie Scott and his wife of 32 years Susan (Troutwine) Barnhill. Also his sons Nathan (Jenny), Laine (Courtney), Travis and his grandchildren Emily, Payton, and Preston. He is also survived by his sisters Rhonda (Ken) Cody and Karen Cobb (John), and brother Jeffrey,two brothers in law, Charles (Elaine) Troutwine Jr. and Mark Troutwine, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Rogers life will be held Tuesday September 6th. Family members are invited to attend the viewing at 1pm and friends at 2pm. Service will begin at 3pm. Following the service there will be a gathering at Rogers childhood home (5751 Old River Rd). Pastor Mike White from the Milligan Assembly of God will officiate the service. GO GATORS!
