Roselyn Locke

Roselyn Locke, age 72 of Crestview passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017.  She was born in Laurel Hill, FL on December 15, 1944, to Russell and Ruth Nell Luke.  Roselyn graduated from Laurel Hill High School in 1962.  She has been a lifelong resident of Laurel Hill and Crestview area.  She was a member of Valley Road Baptist Church.  Roselyn loved her family, especially her grandchildren and loved her 4-legged family member Baby.  Roselyn enjoyed gospel singing, gospel concerts and Holiday get togethers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifton Locke, and her infant brother. 

            Survivors include her children: Jeff Davis and his wife Sharon of Gaskin, FL and Lisa Roberts and her husband David of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: Traci Davis, Toshia Adkins, Megan Roberts and Tim Roberts; great grandchildren Asher Davis and Aiden Helms.  The family would like to thank all those who helped care for their mom, especially Ms. Pearl and Ms. Judy.

             The service for Roselyn will be on Friday, March 24, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.  A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00.  A private family burial will take place after the service.
