            Heaven has received another angel, Russell Webb of Escambia Farms Community passed away on October 4, 2016, at the age of 84.  He was born in Greenville, Alabama on Friday, November 13, 1931, to Thomas and Eva Webb.  Always being known as a “character”, he made lasting impressions on everyone who met him.  He will be truly missed.  Russell was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Webb, his parents, Brother Jackson Webb, and a sister Dorothy Manning.

            Russell is survived by his son’s and daughter’s in law: Rusty and Kim Webb, and Tim and Linda Webb.  Also surviving are his 3 granddaughters: Kristina Broom and husband Steve, Whitney Ferrarese and husband Maurizio, Sydney Schreider and husband Wes; brothers: Thomas Webb and wife Mabel, Edward Webb and wife Minnie.  Russell also leaves behind numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

            A time of visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, October 6th , 2016, at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m.  The funeral for Russell will be on Friday, October 7th , 2016, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Sells officiating.  Burial will follow in the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
