Sharrel "Sherri" Postlethwait Chumbley

Sharrel "Sherri" Chumbley, age 66, of Crestview, Florida, passed away early Monday morning, April 18, 2016, at her home. She was born in North Bloomfield, Ohio, to the late Frances and Roy Postlethwait. She served her country in the U.S. Air Force for over 18 years. Then, after earning an AS degree in Early Child Education, she became a successful local business owner and operator. Sharrel was a member of Victorious Life Worship Center in Crestview, Florida, and she loved woodworking, sewing and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Postlethwait and a nephew. Survivors include her loving husband, Dallas Chumbley; sons, Christopher Engen (Katttie), Justin Chumbley (Angie Crites), and Jarad Chumbley (Julie); daughters, Cynthia Lehneis (Eddie) and Rebecca Kuiper; brothers, Shorty Postlethwait, and Mike Postlethwait; sisters, Cass Postlethwait, Debi Holmes and Patty Kumher; nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, from 6-8 PM at Victorious Life Worship Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at Victorious Life, with Pastor Donnie Cadenhead officiating.
