Blane and I are so sorry for your loss, and we missed the Memorial Service. Shirley's passing was such a sudden and huge shock, and is a great sadness for everyone. You are in our prayers as you take steps forward into a new future.

Words can't express how sorry I am for this family and our church family, but I know that Ms. Shirley is the the arms of Jesus and is so much better off than we are. I know as we grieve we hold on to that promise and the promise that we will get to see her again. We are here for you at Crosspoint as family as you walk through this time. We love each of you!

I seldom hear any more the phrase: "pillar of the church". But that described Shirley. She could always be counted on. Always giving hugs, listening, sharing her stories. I so loved doing life together with Shirley. She became a very dear friend in the midst of doing ministry together, caring for people together and loving on one another. No doubt, Shirley is very at home in heaven. She's not there because she is good. She's there because God is good and she trusted in Jesus. How I will miss her. My love to Ben and all Shirley's kids and grand kids.
