Wallace Martin Stokes, Sr.

Wallace Martin Stokes, Sr., age 67, of Milton, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017, in Pensacola, Florida He was born October 8, 1950 in Athens, Tennessee to the late Burch and Essie Stokes, and was a member of Joy Bible Baptist Church in Milton. Wallace was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Lillian Faye Stokes. He is survived by kids, Larry Trueblood and Wallace Stokes, Jr.,Angela and Jim Pratt, Brenda and Earl Raybon, and Glenda and William Arnett; a brother, Burch Stokes, Jr.; sisters, Patsy Parker and Angie Trusley; seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A time of visitation will take place from 1-2 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview. Funeral services will at 2 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Tommie Danley officiating. Following the funeral, Wallace will be laid to rest in Harold Cemetery next to his wife, Lillian.
