Wendy O'Byrne

Wendy O’Byrne, age 68 of Crestview passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at her home.  She was born on November 27, 1947, in Andalusia, AL to Harold and Dot Kelly.  Wendy was a long time resident of the Crestview area.  She retired from the Assistant State’s Attorney Office and was a member of First Baptist Church of Crestview.  Wendy loved music and loved to play the piano.  She loved to read and loved to watch movies.  Wendy was preceded in death by her parents; her son David Dayner, Jr.; grandson David Dayner III, Brother Greg Kelly and her uncle David Russell.

            Survivors include her daughter: Kelly Sellers and husband Rodney of Pelham, GA and Dawn Paul and husband Alan of Crestview, FL; daughter in law: Tracy Waters; grandchildren: Megan and Camden McCoy; Courtney Johnson and husband Kevin, Taylor Paul, and Brandi Dayner; also surviving is her Great granddaughter Addelyn Johnson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

            The celebration of Wendy’s life will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
