Allie Mae Chase

Allie Mae Chase, age 93, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. She was born on October 29, 1923 in Okaloosa County, Florida to William and Ida Mae Huckabaa. Allie was a house wife and a member of New Beginnings Church for many years, she cared for the elderly. She was a caring, loving mother, sister, granny, and neighbor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Ward; two sons, Charles Ward and Carl Ward; four brothers, Martin Huckabaa, L.B. Huckabaa, Henry Huckabaa, Earl B. Huckabaa and Donald Huckabaa.

Allie is survived by her sons, Hubert Huckabaa and Tommy Ward; daughters Alta Davis, Audie Mae Harris, and Doris Barnes; one brother Willie Ray Huckabaa; and one sister, Doris Phillips; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 15 great- great- grandchildren; six great-great-great-grandchildren. Also, a special thanks to her granddaughter, Cindy H. Myers for helping care for Allie Mae.

A time of visitation will be held at New Beginnings Church in Crestview, Florida on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 10:00-11:00am with the service starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Alberton Cemetery in Kinston, Alabama.
