Angela Riseden, age 22 of Oakwood, GA and formerly of Crestview, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. She was born at Edwards Air Force Base, CA on April 20, 1996, to Donie and Stefanie Riseden. As an adventurous Air Force brat she also lived in Texas, Las Vegas, NV, Belgium, and Maryland. Angela graduated from Choice High School and Technical Center in Fort Walton Beach FL. in 2014 with focus in the Culinary Arts. She followed her passion and went on to Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta, GA. Where she earned her Associate of Occupational Science Degree in Culinary Arts. She went on to work at upscale Atlanta restaurants but was most happy at her latest endeavor as the Chef on a food truck called Sunshine Alchemy. Angela loved cooking, nature hikes and photography. She enjoyed traveling, music, Pokemon and Geocaching. Most of all she loved her family and friends and Angela was her own unique person.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Donie R. Riseden. Survivors include her parents Donie and Stefanie Riseden, sisters: Sarah and Rachel Riseden. Her grandparents also survive, Marshall and Karin McHenry and Renate & Heinz Sinkovicz, Aunts and Uncles Christine McHenry, Brandon Collins, Sandra and Abraham Douglas.
The celebration of Angela’s life will be on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Braswell officiating. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 4:00 p.m.
