Arwilda Green

Arwilda Green, age 62 of Crestview, passed away Thursday. November 8, 2018. She was born in Montgomery, AL on June 18, 1956. Arwilda served her country in the United States Army. After serving in the military she worked at several military bases as a Telephone Operator. Arwilda loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to listen to music especially from the 60’s. She loved to watch birds and her favorite were blue jays and redbirds. Arwilda was preceded in death by her sister, Jaqueline Phillips, granddaughter, Jayden Green and her mother Willie Pearl Conyer. Survivors include her husband: Gregory Green of 40 years, son Shawnston Ross and wife Rebecca, daughter: Jamia Green, brothers: Ronald Ross and Andrae Ross, Sisters: Carolyn Carson, and Harriett Stewart. The apple of her eye were her grandchildren: Shelsea, Alexander, Alexis, Xavion, Gabriel and Gabriella. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family also survive. The celebration of Arwilda’s life will be on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.
