My dear cousin Barbara was such a precious gift to our family. Whether making mud pies from dirt when we were very young, or sharing stories of family as we got older, she always brought lightness and love to my life. I can hear her laughter so clearly even now and will forever remember and be blessed by the comfort and joy it brings. A fine southern lady, loving Mother and Grandmother, Sister, and cousin. Heartfelt prayers to Donnie, their precious family, Dennis & family. God bless you, keep you, and give you His strength and comfort in days ahead.

To my dearest friend Barbara, who made my days at the phone company be full of laughter, friendship and bearable with your unique southern wit.

I will forever hold you so close to my heart because you were always there for me, you were the kindness lady I came to respect, admire and called a true friend, and my heart is broken in your absence.

I will keep Donnie, daughters, your dearest Shelly and grandkids in my prayers, and wishing the good Lord gives them strength and solace in this trying time.
