Brenda Carr Howlett

Brenda Carr Howlett, age 64, of Crestview, passed away Friday evening, September 22, 2017, at Fort Walton Beach Hospital. She was born April 5, 1953, in Florala, Alabama to Carlton S. Carr and Doris Nelson. Brenda loved being outdoors fishing or swimming, and loved to cook for her family and friends who she loved being with. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Carroll, her husband, Tommy Howlett, father Carlton S. Carr, step daughter Stephanie Howlett and brothers, Bill Carroll and Steve Carr. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Henderson, Jr.; daughters, Christie Williams and her husband, D.J., and Stacey Howlett; step daughter: Tonya Mueller and their children; her step father, William Carroll; her sister, Deborah Henderson and her husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Dealin, Emaleigh, Jayden, Katelyn, Caleb and Kevin; two great grandchildren, River and Riley; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. A time of visitation will take place from 6-8 PM on Monday, September 25, 2017, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Geoff Prows officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Crestview.
