Buddy Causey

Buddy Causey age 60 of Crestview passed away on Monday July 8, 2019, with his mother at his side.  He was born in Norfolk, VA on January 29, 1959 to Otis Causey and June Wilkinson.  Buddy spent his young life on commercial fishing boats.  He loved fishing and boating, but he really loved loud music.  Buddy loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father Otis Causey.

            Survivors include his mother June Monroe Wilkinson, daughter Kara Payne, and sons: Bryon Dreading and Cory Leverett.  His grandchildren also survive: Victor Payne, Cassidy,  Justin and Jayce Leverett, Allana and Anthony Dreading.

            The celebration of Buddy’s life will be on July 13, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.
