Charles Kelly

Charles Kelly, age 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Laurel Hill, Florida on January 27, 1948 to Stevie and Eva Mae Kelly. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Crestview. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the deer in his yard and he loved his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents Stevie & Eva Kelly; two daughters, Leslie Annette Moore and Stephenie Ann Moore; and two brothers, Roy and Jimmy Kelly.

Charles is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marcia Ann Kelly; Sons: Grady Rathel & Gene George; daughter, Rita Evonne Gray and husband Michael; special childhood friends Tommy Givens, Royce Dawson and his wife Beverly who were faithful to come and visit; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family & friends; His grandchildren, James Andrew Moore and his wife Melissa, Jay Anthony Moore and his wife Evelyn, Lester Gene George III, Katherine Ann George, Justin Loyd George, Dewayne Allen Moore, Eva Jane Moore.  Also surviving are his 2 great granddaughters Nevaeh and Josephine.

          A time of visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 10-11:00am at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with funeral service starting at 11:00am, with Reverends Jerry Nelson and Fran Picker officiating. Burial will follow at Wing Cemetery in Wing, Alabama. The family would like to say a special thank you to Amedysis Home health and Emerald Coast Hospice for the care they gave to Charles.
