Charlotte Tracy

Charlotte Tracy, age 80 of Crestview went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 12, 2017.  She was born in Crestview on March 27, 1937, to Sylvester and LouVera King.  Charlotte was a long-time resident of Crestview and a member of the Airport Road Church of Christ.  She loved to shop, sometimes being called a “shopaholic”, she loved to read and socialize with people.  In her younger days, Charlotte loved to jitter bug.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Kenneth King, a sister Sybil “Squibb” Doris, and her son Kenneth E. Hopkins.

    Charlotte is survived by her brothers: Harold, Glen, Ralph, and Bill King; and her sister Lorene Owen.  One grandchild survivors: Dorothy Jarvornik and a great great granddaughter.  A special niece and caregiver also survive, Wanda Neal.

    A memorial service for Charlotte will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Dillman officiating.
