Cleo Peacock age 85 of Baker passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Milligan, FL on December 12, 1933 to James and Lizzie Stiller and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Cleo graduated from Baker High School in 1952. She worked as a telephone operator for many years and then went to work for Vitro before retiring. She was a long-time member of Westside Assembly of God. Cleo loved to shop and loved to sew. But most of all she loved her family, especially cooking for them and traveling with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters: Maris Aplin and Ola Jackson Survivors include her husband of 66 years Noah Peacock, her children: Lynn Peacock, Linda Braden, and Louis Peacock. Cleo also leaves behind her precious grandchildren: Jennifer, Jeremy, Ashley, Brittany, and Terra and her precious great grandchildren: Lucas, Rosalie, Arabelle, Ruby and Callie. The celebration of Cleo’s life will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.
