David Hanke

David was called to be with the Lord on 19 December 2018. He suffered a short illness and passed away peacefully with his mother by his side. He was born in Ft Walton Beach on 22 September 1990 to David C. Hanke and mother, Patricia Talley Dreaden.

His father, David C. Hanke precedes him in death. Also, his grandfather David G. Hanke, grandmother Dorothy Hanke and his Uncle Bernie Hanke. On his mother's side he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Emma and Claudy Talley.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Talley) Dreaden of Crestview. Also by and his Aunt Theresa Talley Nelson and Uncle Mike Nelson of Navarre and cousins Mikayla Nelson Simpson of Valparaiso and Steven Lawhon of Pensacola and his Aunt Donna Hanke of Yonkers, New York.

His broad shoulders, wide smile, big hugs and sweet spirit will be sorely missed.

A Memorial celebrating David’s life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity in David’s memory.
