David Tyner

David Tyner age 67 of Laurel Hill passed away on June 1, 2019.  He was born on March 18, 1952 to Nolan and Katie B. Tyner.  David served his country in the United States Navy.  He loved music and loved to play instruments.  David worked with his daddy on the family fishing boat, “Little Martha” and worked as a truck driver.  David was preceded in death by his parents Nolan and Katie B. Tyner.

            Survivors include his son Joshua David Tyner; Brothers: Wayland, Pete, and Billy Tyner and Sisters: JoAnn Reeves Manasco, Katie Folsom, Mildred Campbell, and Judy Davis.  Also surviving are his 2 grandchildren: Mason and Gracie, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

            A memorial service for David will take place on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.  A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
