Dewey Harris Obituary

Dewey Harris age 83 of Crestview passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Crestview Rehab Center. He was born on July 1st, 1936, to Percer and Bertha Harris. Dewey served his Country in the United States Air Force and retired with more than 20 years of service. After retiring from the military, he went to work for Kimberly-Clark and worked for them for many years. Dewey loved old cars and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kaye Frances, son Johnny Harris and granddaughter Amanda Kaye Harris. Survivors include his children: Dennis Harris and wife Katrina, Jerry Harris and wife Donna, Jeff Harris and wife Holly and Patricia Swann and husband Doug. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. A private family burial will take place at Old Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home and Southern Heritage Crematory in Crestview.
