Donald Richard Michael, Sr.

 Richard Michael age 76 of Crestview passed away early Friday morning at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Morgan Town, W. Va. On April 30, 1942 to Paul and Edna Michael. Rich grew up in West Virginia and moved to Florida when he was 12. He loved to watch Westerns and loved his animals. Rich was a “self-made man” and a Jack of all trades. He owned several businesses, loved working on cars and was good with his hands. Most of all he loved his family. Rich was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Charles and Paul Michael. Survivors include his children: Beverly Michael, Paula Roura, Jr. Michael, and Kimberly Michael; brother David Michael and sister Judy Dogostino. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Al Roura and Robert Monzolino, along with 2 great grandchildren: Katlan and Danielle Roura. Many many nieces and nephews also survive Rich. A graveside service for Rich will take place on Monday, April 15th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Old Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
