Harlen Patrick, age 9 of Crestview passed away on Saturday September 15th, 2018. He was born in Crestview, FL on January 12th, 2009. Harlen was blessed to be lovingly cared for by his mother, Kendra Franklin, bonus dad Jamie Korn, and biological father Brandon Schneider. Harlen loved all types of music, he loved the ABC’s and Old McDonalds Farm, he loved his favorite stuffed puppy dog named Scout, warm squeeze hugs, and more than anything else he loved laughing and being surrounded by his family. Harlen always greeted every new day with a smile despite his constant battles with seizures, and is a reminder to us all to be thankful for the little things in life. He is survived by his parents, his two brothers, and an incredibly supportive family made of numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A time of visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, September 20th, 2018 at Beasley Park in Fort Walton Beach, FL from 4:45-5:45p.m. The Celebration of Harlen’s life will directly follow the visitation, beginning at 5:45. The family requests that you wear your brightest colors, so that Harlen may see their beauty for the first time. They also request that if you would like to sit for the service, that you please bring your favorite chairs or blankets.
