Helen VanDerLofske

VanDerLofske, Helen of Crestview, Florida formerly of Uniondale and Remsen, NY, beloved wife of Judd (deceased), loving mother of Robert (Deceased) and Linda (deceased).

Survived by 7 loving grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa Portaro, Frank and Vicki LoCicero, Cheryl Bannister and Lock Vongsouvanh, Victoria Portaro, Janice Sullivan, donna and Frank Piazza, Diane and Gary Schuman and Robert and Karen VanDerLofske; 9 great-grandchildren, Corey and Jessy LoCicero, Brent Bannister, Kennedy Sullivan, Amanda and Steve Brisson, Jaclyn Braen, Frank Piazza, Jr., Michael, Nicholas and Kelly VanDerLofske; 3 great-great grandchildren, Taylor, Dominic and Vincenzo (Vinny) LoCicero; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her very special thank you to Melissa, Frank and Vicki and Corey with whom she resided. She was eternally grateful for their love and caring which was very much appreciated.

During World War II, she worked at Grumman Aircraft, she was the owner of LaBouffant Beauty Salon, a cosmetology teacher and  bookkeeper for a business firm for many years. She devoted her entire life to her family and for that we have been blessed to live in the hearts of those who loved you, although gone, will never be forgotten.
