Jerry William Bolton

Jerry Bolton, age 65 of the Dorcas Community passed away on March 2, 2019. He was born on December 24, 1953 in Florala, Alabama to Roy and Lois Bolton. Jerry liked walking in the woods and picking blueberries.  He loved to go bowling and participate in the Special Olympics Jerry loved to eat ice cream and drink milk shakes, but most of all he loved his family and his friends at H.E.R.O.E.S.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Bolton.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Leon Bolton and his wife Joyce of Milton, Florida; and sisters, Bernice Hilton-Calhoun of Dorcas and Geraldine Alford; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great-nephew and extended family and friends.

The celebration of Jerry’s life will be on Tuesday March 12th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral with burial to follow in the Dorcas Baptist Church Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
