Jessie Fleming

Jessie L. Fleming, 93, of Crestview, Florida passed away December 4, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 25, 1924, in Forney, Alabama moved to Okaloosa County in 1962. She spent many years as a caretaker, caring mostly for the elderly and was much valued for her loving touch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah Groover and Lillie G. Ferguson; brother, Jim Groover; husband, Earl R. Fleming; son, Richard W. Fleming; and granddaughter, Debbie Owen.

She is survived by her children Nancy and husband Bob Savell of Montevallo, Alabama, Harry and wife Sherry Fleming of Baker, Florida, Tommy and wife Janice Fleming of Crestview, Florida, Becky and husband Jeff Ward of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Angela Jones of White, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Ann Fleming of Baker, Florida; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Life Tabernacle from 12:00-1:00PM with the service starting at 1:00pm with Shane Chessor officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories.
