Jim Wilson Obituary

Jim Wilson, age 73, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 7, 1945 in Waynesburg, PA to Mervyn and Pauline Wilson. Jim served his Country in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Jim loved going to the VA and talking with his buddies and telling stories. He was an excellent shade tree mechanic and loved to work on anything, tear it apart and put it back together.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Tamburello and a brother, Charles Wilson.

He is survived by his daughter, Kerry Mateleska and husband John, III; son, Jeff Wilson McMorrow; brother, Mervyn “Sonny” Wilson; sisters, Pat Adams, and Linda Tingler; grandchildren, John IV and Brianna Mateleska, Olivia, and Deven McMorrow. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A private family service will take place at a later date.
