Jimmy Cato

Jimmy Cato, age 69 of Laurel Hill passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Sacred Heart Hospital.  Jimmy was a member of South Old Ebenezer Church and served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a farmer and a family man.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Virginia “Ginger” Cato.  Survivors include his daughters: Jessica Washington, Jennifer Lucas, and Julie Kent.  6 grandchildren also survive: Bobby DeWayne Washington, II, Mydis Blaise Washington, Kobi Tyler Lucas, Kyler Hunter Lucas, Meagan Burett Kent and Justin Lynn Kent.

            Funeral service for Jimmy will be on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at South Ebenezer Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends at the church Sunday morning starting at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in the Old Ebenezer Cemetery.
